Any purchase of alcohol by or on behalf of persons under 21 years of age is prohibited by law. By placing an order using HJ Winery’s website, you are representing that you are at least 21 years old and that the recipient of the order is at least 21 years old. The winery, and any transportation company shipping or delivering your order, reserve the right to validate proof of identity and age from you or your intended recipient. You assume title to the ordered items once your payment is processed by the winery. By arranging for the transportation of your purchased items, the winery is providing a service for you and is acting on your behalf. Accordingly, you are solely responsible for determining the legality and any consequences of any pick-up, shipment and delivery of your order. Each state, county and town has its own rules about alcoholic beverages, and you should contact the appropriate agency(ies) in your state, county and/or town about your compliance obligations. None of HJ Winery, the fulfilling winery/retailer or any transportation company make any representation as to your legal rights to have alcohol picked-up by you or anybody else or have alcohol shipped or delivered to the recipient and address designated by you in your order.
